Qigong
Katie Nall
Qigong is an 8,000 year old movement program that exercises internal organs. With over 9,000 variations, it is the parent form for Tai Chi, Kung Fun, acupuncture, acupressure, and Emotional Freedom Technique (Tapping). Qigong is known as the Longevity Exercise as the movements have been known to extend healthy lives. No special equipment required.

DRAWING
You Can Draw

Beginner level
This course will ensure that beginning students learn to see shapes, understand shadows, and use line in powerful or delicate ways. Students will learn to use drawing tools properly and confidently and will be amazed at their steady progress as they learn to design and compose their projects. PAINTING
Acrylic Painting – The Basics and More

Beginning or experienced students can improve skills in painting and brush and material handling. The instructor will discuss how to frame and hang paintings correctly as well as setting the pace for students to begin and complete a painting. Students may also bring artworks in progress and other ideas for painting. Materials needed: Thomas 2022 Acrylic Basics materials

Painting Studio and More

Join a friendly group of artists who work independently while sharing with each other. The instructor provides suggestions and demonstrations. This studio class is open to these 2-D mediums: acrylics, oils, mixed media, watercolor, and drawing. Students should bring their preferred materials to class.

ONLINE CLASSES – VIA ZOOM
Artful Atmosphere, to the Moon and Back: Tanner, Turner, Wyeth and more

This series illuminates our fascination with weather conditions and celestial occurrences. Throughout time, artists have documented and interpreted the seasons, time of day and night, atmospheric states, and sky sightings that bring nature in all its glory and terror to the fore. Weekly themes: sun and sunlight, moon and moonlight, rain and fog, and wind and gravity in historical to contemporary paintings. This course is a blended multi-media, lecture, and conversational format where student insights contribute to learning for all. Optional pre-class materials will be provided.
