Come and stay a while at the VBMA Summer Art Camp! This year’s theme Summer Staycation is all about loving what’s local—from the sand under campers’ toes at the beach to the stars in the night sky above their own backyard. Campers will experiment with a wide array of art materials and techniques. Classes are grouped by age, for children 5 through 16 years old. All supplies are provided! Campers will visit the galleries daily to view and discuss artworks related to the weekly theme. Each week campers’ artworks are exhibited in the Patricia M. Patten Community Gallery. Every Friday, families are welcome to walk the gallery and collect their children’s projects to take home.
