…is how a local first grade teacher describes her students’ recent visit to the VBMA. Thousands of children, families, seniors, and adults of all ages visit the Museum every year for inspiration, learning, and enjoyment. We all see a little bit of ourselves in the works of art on the Museum’s walls, and some of us find our hidden talent in the Museum Art School studios. For our students and all of our visitors, art has the power to engage and inspire in a way that words alone cannot. Sponsorship fuels that power.

Program, event and exhibition sponsorship is an important component of program funding at the VBMA. While your membership funds more than 30% of the Museum’s operating budget, Sponsorship supports Museum programs, events and exhibitions. The Museum is committed to providing creative educational, artistic and humanities-based opportunities for our entire community, regardless of age or socio-economic status, and our Sponsors ensure that art is accessible to all.
