Free admission all day, every Second Saturday!
Second Saturdays at the VBMA features free admission all day, plus a variety of cultural offerings, including the widely popular Museum Studios for families from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Complementary programming such as performances, lectures, films, and related expressions of arts and humanities will continue throughout the afternoon on select Saturdays.
- Join us for Museum Studios from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.!
- Participate in Sketching in the Gallery from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
- Coastal Connections – Friendship Bracelet Making from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Join Coastal Connections in the Laura and Bill Buck Atrium for an engaging, hands-on experience focused on protecting our local marine life. Learn about sea turtles and the importance of removing fishing line from our waterways. Visitors can participate in a bracelet-making station, crafting friendship bracelets from braided fishing line that has been collected and recycled through Coastal Connections’ Fishing Line Recycling Program.

- Enjoy a free lecture Frank Lloyd Wright and His Influence on Florida Architecture with Wayne Wood at 3pm.
