PORTRAIT SCULPTURE
George Paxton
Intermediate and advanced levels
Students will develop their ability to create portraiture during this five-week course. Working from a live model, students will create a life-sized portrait sculpture bust and the instructor will provide and discuss individual instruction, and explain principles of portraiture. Students will take measurements with calipers to use in developing the structure and proportions of the face and the anatomy of the eyes, nose, mouth, ears, and hair.
