Visitor Code of Conduct

To ensure an enjoyable and safe environment for all visitors and employees at the Vero Beach Museum of Art, everyone is expected to conduct themselves respectfully. The Museum has a zero-tolerance policy for discrimination or harassment in any form.

The Vero Beach Museum of Art reserves the right to remove or deny entry to anyone who fails to comply with its rules and policies.

Visitors must refrain from bullying, endangering, discriminating against, harassing, disrupting, threatening to disrupt, or impeding another visitor’s, guest’s, or employee’s ability to enjoy a Museum program, event, or exhibition.

Artwork must be viewed from a safe distance. Visitors must abide by all signs and placards and not touch any works on display, unless explicitly invited to do so as part of a touch-friendly exhibition. To maintain a clean and art-friendly environment, food and drinks are not permitted in exhibition halls and galleries.

The Museum maintains a family-friendly environment. Visitors are expected to wear appropriate attire, including shirts and shoes, at all times.

A violation of the Code of Conduct may result in suspension from future admission to the galleries, programs, classes, events, and/or revocation of membership. Individuals expelled for violating the Code of Conduct will not be eligible for a refund or any other form of compensation.

All decisions regarding conduct are at the sole discretion of Museum staff.
