2025 Holidays at the Museum

Holidays at the Museum

Posted November 2, 2026

Head over to the Vero Beach Museum of Art on Saturday, December 12, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. to celebrate the season at the Holidays at the Museum community festival. Children, families, and adults of all ages will enjoy free admission to the entire Museum—including the Hokusai, Hiroshige, Hasui: Japanese Landscapes in Print exhibition, which makes its American debut at VBMA—along with holiday-themed and exhibition-inspired art making, music and dance performances, food trucks, and other activities for the whole family to enjoy.

An exciting addition to this year’s Holidays at the Museum lineup is Fushu Daiko! As South Florida’s premier Japanese taiko drumming ensemble, Fushu Daiko performs, teaches, and preserves the art of taiko, offering visitors a high-energy immersion in traditional Japanese performing arts. Several engaging demonstrations will take place throughout the day.

Uplifting holiday performances will be put on by local school orchestras and community organizations. Performers include youth from the Indian River Charter High School Orchestra, For the One Dance Collective, Gifford Academy for the Performing Arts, Imagine South Vero, Music Angels, Ocean Youth Academy, Osceola Singers, and Vero Beach Karate Association.

In the galleries, docents will lead family-friendly tours and art hunts focused around the artworks on display, and the studios will be brimming with art activities led by VBMA teaching artists. Museum guests can create their own holiday and exhibition-themed artworks, try their hands at easel painting, and contribute to a large-scale kinusaiga community art collaboration.

The Museum Store will be open all day, chock-full of unique gifts for everyone in the family. Food trucks, including The Big Tomato and Swirl Society, will be outside the Museum entrance for guests who want snacks, meals, and refreshments.
