Patten Gallery Exhibitions

VBMA STAFF, TEACHING ARTISTS, AND DOCENT EXHIBITION
All VBMA staff, teaching artists, and docents are invited to exhibit in our first exhibition of this kind!

Location: Vero Beach Museum of Art, 3001 Riverside Park Dr, Vero Beach, FL 32963
Deadline to submit: Friday, July 12, 2024
Artwork drop-off date: Tuesday, July 30, 2024, 10 am – 2 pm, Studios 2 and 3 at VBMA
Exhibition dates: August 2 – September 8, 2024
Artwork pickup date: Monday, September 9, 10 am – 2 pm, Studios 2 and 3 at VBMA

CRITERIA FOR THE SHOW

1. Current VBMA staff, teaching artists, and docents can submit up to three artworks per artist (pending space)
2. 2D and 3D works are accepted in this exhibition
3. All 2D work must be gallery wrapped or framed with wire hardware/D rings preferred (no saw tooth hangers)
4. Frames must be in good condition
5. 2D artworks should not exceed 48” w x 72” h inches, including frame
6. 3D sized artworks are negotiable – display cases with bonnets will be available
7. Artwork must be suitable for public display (including children) in the Patten Community Gallery
8. No glitter on artworks. Glitter is not permitted in the museum
9. Soil, live plants, or materials showing evidence of insects or disease on artworks are not permitted in the museum
10. Artworks must remain in the Patten Community Gallery for the duration of the exhibition
11. Education staff will have final approval on all submissions
