Gallery Docent Tours


Join a free gallery tour with a Museum docent (offered daily at 2 pm) to explore highlights from the Museum’s collection or a special exhibition. Tours are Free with Museum Admission.

Art Talk

Join VBMA docents for an in-depth focus on select artworks from the exhibitions Circle of Animals/Zodiac Heads: Gold by Ai Weiwei and Astronomy Photographer of the Year. Trained docents will pick up participants at the Information Desk, then head to the galleries for 45-60 minutes of careful looking and discussion based on the themes listed below. 

All programs take place on Wednesday and begin at noon.
