VBMA Gala 2026—From Sea to Shining Sea

Posted February 11, 2026

On January 30, a sold-out crowd of more than 400 guests celebrated at From Sea to Shining Sea, the Vero Beach Museum of Art’s annual Gala, arguably the season’s most iconic and anticipated event. Guests began the evening beneath the stars with a tasting tour of culinary delights and spirits from across the country—savoring oysters from the East Coast, wines from the West Coast, and delectable regional fare in between—while the John Simon Band set the mood with timeless selections from The Great American Songbook.

After remarks by Gala Chair Hollis Forbes and VBMA Executive Director Brady Roberts, the party moved inside for an exquisite dinner inspired by the event theme, catered by Elizabeth D. Kennedy & Co. Gala guests also enjoyed an exclusive preview of the American Made: Paintings and Sculpture from the DeMell Jacobsen Collection exhibition, featuring masterpieces by many of our country’s most important artists.

VBMA’s annual Gala benefits the educational programs that serve so many in our community. The Museum is grateful to GALA 2026 Chair Hollis Forbes and her committee, presenting sponsor William and Carolyn Stutt, and our other generous event sponsors and attendees.
