Concerts in the Park Mike T Bio

Mike Telesmanick is an accomplished jazz pianist, singer and composer heralded out of Boston and Los Angeles and is a graduate cum laude of the esteemed Berklee College of Music in Boston. He has played in the U.S. and abroad with many Grammy award-winning artists and was the late Merv Griffin’s favorite pianist at Mr. Griffin’s legendary “Coconut Club” in Beverly Hills. Expect to hear classic be-bop arrangements echoing the styles of Bud Powell, Bill Evans, Oscar Peterson and Thelonius Monk, as well as contemporary jazz stylings similar to Herbie Hancock, Chick Corea, and McCoy Tyner. Mike will also perform some of his original compositions and pay vocal tribute to Nat King Cole, Johnny Hartman, and Frank Sinatra. Special guest artist, chanteuse Nolia Blue will join Mike’s trio with her artful and evocative voice.
