(1930) Not Rated 73 minutes
A now legendary film of immense historical significance, this silent gem, produced in 1929 and released in 1930, was considered very daring for its time because it broke all the rules of traditional film making. None of the cast were professional actors, but the young screenwriters and cinematographers went on to become world famous, each and every one. Lovingly restored with a beautiful orchestral soundtrack and stunning black-and-white images of Weimar Berlin.
