SA16 Food in Art

This art history course explores still life, genre, and installation depictions of food through the modern lens and considers previous works of art that inspired them. Drawing on an array of artists and “isms” from museums near and far, we will follow the thread between art of the recent and their link to the past to appreciate the transitions.
