A New Building for VBMA’s Future
Posted August 14, 2025
On August 12, 2025, City of Vero Beach Councilmembers enthusiastically and unanimously approved a new lease with the Vero Beach Museum of Art, extending its premises to accommodate the Museum’s new purpose-built, weather-resilient facility that will be thoughtfully integrated with its surroundings in Riverside Park. The new building, designed by Allied Works, will enable the Museum to better serve its growing audiences and ensure the safety of its collection for future generations.
Additional details on the museum design will be shared in the coming months. The Museum will continue to operate in its existing building throughout construction, which is anticipated to begin in the fall.
Periodic project updates will be available through this website and other VBMA communications channels.
