38th Asbury Short Film Concert

Asbury Shorts USA is New York City’s longest running short film exhibition and touring show. Since 1981, their short film “concerts” have been presented at venues across the US, Canada, Great Britain, and Germany. Asbury Shorts’ mission is to screen world-renowned, festival award-winning short films in theaters, art museums, and performing arts centers on real cinema screens (as opposed to on YouTube, smart phones, or computers). The VBMA is thrilled to present Asbury Shorts’ “38th Asbury Short Film Concert” at the museum for the sixth consecutive year. The two-hour program will feature a fast-paced and highly entertaining line up of the best in short film Comedy, Drama, and Animation, and will include Oscar Nominees, US film festival “Best of Show” winners, and international honorees from the past and present.

Recommended for ages 16 and above.

The program is hosted by Asbury Shorts Founder/Director Doug LeClaire.
