2023-2024 Circle Calendar
November 15: Opening Afternoon Tea
3 – 5:00 p.m. (VBMA Atrium)
Circle members kick off the season at the Museum to reconnect with friends, welcome new members, and learn about the selection of art education programs being proposed for funding consideration.
January 10: General Meeting
10-11:30 a.m. (VBMA Great Hall)
At this meeting we hear informative program presentations by the education staff. Site visit teams are then established, which are key to The Circle’s selection process.
February 14: Annual Breakfast Meeting
8:45 – 11:00 a.m. (Vero Beach Yacht Club)
Conducted offsite at a private club, the meeting features an inspirational guest speaker from a program previously funded by The Circle.
March 13: Site Visit Team Presentations
10 – 11:30 a.m. (VBMA Great Hall)
The site visit teams provide insightful and moving reports of program visits, and a vote is taken to narrow down the programs to four finalists.
April 11: Closing Cocktail Reception
3 – 5:00 p.m. (VBMA Atrium)
As we close the season, Members vote on which programs to fund. Often, individual members step up to financially support unfunded programs. This is the highlight of the year and is truly the heart of our commitment.
We also offer members special small group enrichment events throughout the year.
