Museum Stories – Week 4

Museum Stories – Week 4

This week Museum Stories celebrates Earth Day with the theme of trees. Our inspiration comes from two very different but equally stunning artistic rendering of trees: Duncan McClellan’s beautiful glass vase called Rain Forest (1994) and James Balog’s photographic compilation called Giant Sequoia, “Stagg” (2001).

Museum Stories – Week 3

April and springtime always make us think of birds. We think it would be fun to take off and fly like a bird! This week we are inspired by Hunt Slonem’s painting Finches for the theme of feathered friends. Check out the fun books and songs we found to help you recreate Museum Stories in your home. Read, sing, waggle, wiggle, flap, chirp and have fun!
