VBMA Welcomes Blue Star Families
The Vero Beach Museum of Art joins Blue Star Museums from across the nation to offer free admission to active-duty U.S. military personnel and their families from Saturday, May 17 (Armed Forces Day) through Monday, September 1, 2025 (Labor Day).
Free VBMA Admission, Class Discounts for U.S. Military Veterans
U.S. military Veterans can now visit the Vero Beach Museum of Art (VBMA) galleries and sculpture gardens free of charge. The Museum will also offer Veterans a 15% discount on regular classes and workshops, including Cork, Canvas & Co. This is in addition to the schedule of free classes for Veterans regularly offered at the Museum.

These impressive additions include works by renowned and mid-career artists, all of whom are represented in numerous noteworthy public and private collections.
Athena Society Elects to Acquire Anish Kapoor’s Magenta
The Vero Beach Museum of Art hosted its annual Athena Society Dinner on Thursday, April 17, 2025, at 6 p.m. with nearly 200 in attendance. This year, members voted to acquire Magenta, 2020, a stainless steel and lacquer sculpture by British-Indian artist Anish Kapoor (b. 1954).
VBMA Children’s Art Festival Set for April 12
The entire family is welcome at the Vero Beach Museum of Art on Saturday, April 12, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. for the Children’s Art Festival. The free, all-ages event is the museum’s annual celebration of the arts and art making.
