May 6 – Transportation

Is there anything more thrilling than the growling rumble of a Buick engine? This week, Harold Brook’s Buick (1992) inspired the Museum Stories theme of transportation. Check out the fun books and songs we found to help you recreate Museum Stories in your home.

Create a car, plane or train “shapes collage.”  Get some construction paper and cut out squares, circles, ovals, triangles and rectangles. Make the shapes free form or download the template.  Glue down the shapes in various configurations to make a train, plane or car. Follow along with the step by step video.
