This course introduces how to create a variety of weavings using a tapestry loom. Basic weaving techniques will lay a foundation for experimentation and exploring other weave structures. Get ready to experiment with unusual weaving materials and methods. From beginners to more experienced weavers, everyone will leave with a new skill.
Each class session, students will share their work from the previous day, discuss works by fiber artists and weavers, both historical and contemporary, as well as explore new weaving techniques and practice creative expression. Tapestry Supply List
