Tackling the Teapot WW67
March 20 @ 10:00 am$120.
A master potter will demonstrate how to create one of the most complex forms to make on the pottery wheel. Making teapots can be fun and challenging, and is a standard of achievement for potters. Teapots are a milestone in a potter’s repertoire demanding close attention to form and function. Participants will create at least two teapots, learning how to develop essential skills and integrate visual aesthetics, personal style, and functionality. During the second day students will glaze the teapots, learning how to unify the surface with color.
Workshop meets Friday, March 20, 10 am – 4 pm, and Friday, March 27, 1 – 4 pm
