PORTRAIT SCULPTURE

Students will develop their ability to create portraiture in this five-week course. Working form a live model, students will create a life-sized portrait sculpture bust. Individual instruction will be provided. Principles of portraiture will be explained and developed. Measurements will be taken with calipers and utilized in developing the structure and proportions of the face. The anatomy of the eyes, nose, mouth, ears, and hair will be discussed and taught.
