Beginning and intermediate levels
Have you always dreamed of throwing on the potter’s wheel? Well here is your chance. This course is open to beginners and returning students who want to throw.
Through instruction and weekly demonstrations students will learn to center a piece of clay on the wheel and throw cylinders, bowls, and more advanced shapes. Returning students wanting to advance their throwing skills through designed projects and their own goals are welcome. The emphasis in this course will be advancing skills and technique.
Classes meet October 2 – December 4 Register by Sep 25
