ART FOR HEALTH’S SAKE: QIGONG AND GUIDED MEDITATION

QIGONG AND GUIDED MEDITATION
Each class will consist of a 40-minute Qigong practice followed by a 25-minute guided meditation. The ancient practice of Qigong includes gentle movement, self-massage, visualization, breath work, and balance. Using these elements we work on cultivating life energy, or qi, in our bodies, bringing vitality and health to mind, body, and spirit. Qigong is from Traditional Chinese Medicine and has been used for centuries as a health-enhancing, energy-building practice appropriate for all ages. Qigong is typically practiced standing but can easily be done while seated. No special equipment or supplies are needed. Pre-register to reserve a space or “drop-in” for single sessions (Drop-in $15 per class).
