This course is for students who wish to explore expressive drawing and acrylic painting with an emphasis on creative thinking. Students will discover fundamental techniques through painting exercises merged with an innovative approach to color harmony, compositional balance, and spontaneity. Extensive observation of contemporary expressionist artists will be introduced. Students will work on paper and canvas. Must complete Abstract Expressionism I before enrolling in Abstract Expressionism II.
