The Museum's Youth Membership program costs only $5 per year for dues and is open to all young people ages 3 to 15 years who are interested in learning about art in all its forms. Members attend free FunShops which are planned five times a year. Youth members also receive their own membership card and decal.

The Vero Beach Museum of Art hosts five youth art FunShops each season. FunShops are open to the public. Young people and their families get a docent guided tour of the current exhibition in the Museum's main gallery, then, young people go to the classrooms to work on a hands-on art activity that relates to the exhibition, under the guidance of a Museum art teacher and volunteers. Young people from the community are welcome to attend for a charge of $2 materials fee per child. Youth members of the Museum attend free. Accompanying parents and grandparents are welcome to attend and help with the activity.
